BALI

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to many religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple and the xxx Temple and is primarily Hindu.

This island welcomes more than 4 million tourists each year yet somehow seems to retain it’s cultural roots and traditional ways of life. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats as well as it’s unique Scuba diving.

Just a few steps off the black sand beaches of Bali’s eastern shore, a treasure trove of creatures awaits. The pictures below were all taken off the beaches of Tulamben and the nearby island of Nusa Penida in August, 2107.
