Blue Heron Bridge & West Palm Beach, FL
The Blue Heron Bridge (AKA – America’s Premier Muck Dive) is located in the intercostal water way of Palm Beach Florida. This dive site is a Macro Photographers paradise and is easy very to access and dive. The sheer number of unique critters here combined with the shallow depths (6′ – 20′) make this a fantastic place for Macro photographers.
Common critters found under the bridge include: The Common and Long Arm Octopus, Pipe Fish, Frogfish, Jaw-fish, Seahorses, Bumblebee Shrimp, Blenny’s and Batfish. Sharks and Manatees have made an appearance but are rare.
This gallery is not date/trip specific but rather a collection of images I’ve taken over time at the bridge and off the coast of West Palm Beach, FL.
